Joseph Pruitt is a software architect with more than 25 years of experience designing products that increase adoption through low barriers to entry while maintaining the flexibility to include rich feature sets. Highly efficient in all product phases including research, design, development, and release, Joe is a well-respected manager of high-performing teams and has a track record of beating deadlines while exceeding high quality standards.
Prior to joining Pryon, Joe was Senior Architect and Director of Architecture at F5 Networks. In this role, he established the company’s API Standards department in the Office of the CTO and was responsible for ensuring customer success with consistency across product offerings, compliance in semantic behaviors, and scalability of integrations. Joe also served as the development liaison for major accounts where he assisted sales teams with customer advocacy and fed invaluable input back into the company’s products to ensure success for F5 and its customers. As Strategic Architect at F5, Joe was the founding lead for the company’s developer community platform that grew to more than 300,000 active members under his management.
Joe was recently advisor to an early-stage startup. As the company’s third member, he designed and implemented a high-performance classification and enforcement engine for cellphone online activity, scalable network infrastructure, registration and payment systems, IOS management app, and web analytics and campaign tracking.
A holder of two United States patents, Joe earned his B.S. in Engineering Mathematics from the University of Arizona.
